Lana Bui is proudly first generation Vietnamese American, born and raised in Winter Park, FL. Her love of music began as early as 4 years old when she would perform on stage with her father singing Vietnamese folk songs. At 7 years old, she began playing violin in school, taking on private lessons, and participating in youth and school orchestras. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Music Business, she moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue her dream of becoming a music supervisor. Through hard work, perseverance, and a little bit of cosmic luck, Lana landed her first supervision gig at Aspect, a trailer house in North Hollywood. She successfully followed up that role at Wild Card Creative Group where she placed music for projects such as Dune, Ad Astra, Extraction, and Little Fires Everywhere. At the start of 2022, Lana is now a full time Director of Music at Rogue Planet AV.
When Lana isn't working, she enjoys time spent outside with her pitbull, and catching up over iced coffee with friends.
